The artist\u2019s approach rests on the exploration of major ambiguities of the existence and was always influenced by the possible slips between scientific and philosophical concepts, in particular those which treat human conscience and characteristics of the life.<br \/>\nBorn in 1980, Laurent Pernot lives and works in Lille and Paris. Graduated from Le Fresnoy, National Studio of Contemporary Arts Laurent Pernot travels round the world with a series of exhibitions which led him in China for the Biennial of Wuyishan, at the Mir\u00f3 Foundation of Barcelona, at the Intercross Creative Center of Sapporo in Japan, as well as in Finland, Great Britain, Germany, Slovenia, Switzerland, India, Korea.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Beyond miracles&#8221;, solo exhibition from May 4 to 27, 2007 Curator : Cornelia Erdmann \u201cBeyond Miracles\u201d will showcase 5 major video installation works of Laurent Pernot, each trying to represent the tragic and marvelous character of life.
